Some connections run deeper than you can explain. For me, it started in the soil, growing up on a farm, learning early that the land gives back when you treat it well. Wool was part of that life too. Not just a material, but a resource that felt alive, warm, natural, and endlessly capable.

When life brought me to Auckland, I carried that connection with me. But I noticed something was missing in the city. Urban gardeners were passionate, creative, and full of heart, yet the products available to them were full of chemicals, plastics, and shortcuts that worked against the very nature they were trying to nurture.

I wanted to change that so we started creating wool based garden products that helped the natural cycle of nature fuelling nature be restored. A product that reduces waste, supports Kiwi farmers, and helps gardeners garden more sustainably.

But the more I sat with it, the more I realised the mission was bigger than mulch. It was never really about wool. It's about helping everyday Kiwis reconnect with nature and live a little more sustainably, through products, guides, and experiences that bring more soil, more growth, and more outdoors into daily life. Wool is where we started. It won't be where we stop.
